With the “Fünf Höfe” (Five Courts) project, an entire district between Marienplatz and Brienner Straße was opened to the public and brought to life.
The diverse and innovative designs by the architects Herzog & de Meuron create an arcade of the highest standards for business, shopping and living on a gross floor area of 84,000 m².
A varied mix of uses fosters modern and vibrant city life: 54 units for shops, 2.500 m² for gastronomy, 24.500 m² of office space and 26 apartments. These are the basis of the project’s success with the Hypo Kunsthalle as the cultural highlight of the district.
