Besonderheit

The printing center of the Süddeutscher Verlag in Munich-Steinhausen represents a milestone for both the Süddeutscher Verlag and KBP. KBP developed a comprehensive concept for the design of the technical equipment for this project. The heating and cooling requirements were meticously calculated. By incorporating the significant internal heat gains from the rotary press system, many opportunities for energy savings in production were identified. As a result, an economical, efficient, and flexible heating supply was achieved by combining a heat pump and gas as the heat source. Further optimization was achieved through intelligent control technology.
