The insurer Swiss Life has built its new headquarters for Germany in Garching near Munich. On a 20,000 m² plot of land in the Hochbrück industrial area, a modern office building was created according to the plans of the Munich-based architectural firm Ackermann and Partner.

The office concept features flexible individual and group offices arranged along a combined zone. Accordingly, the ventilation system supplies fresh air to the offices through the floor and is centrally extracted in the combined zones. The cooling of the rooms is achieved through thermal activation of the building's structure. Special areas for conferences, staff restaurant and data center are designed with technically adapted solutions for ventilation and fire protection systems.
