Besonderheit

The new NCC South is the fourth convention center of the exhibition center and will become the future centerpiece of the "The New South" complex, flanked by the adjacent exhibition halls 3A and 3C. In total, "The new South" will offer around 32,000 m² of gross exhibition space, meeting the urgent customer demand for a close integration of trade fairs and congresses.

As has already been the case for the successful Halls 3A and 3C, NCC Süd will also aim for certification from the German Sustainable Building Council, the DGNB – because sustainability has been a very high priority at NürnbergMesse for years. The interior of the building is described as "bright, friendly, and modern," and the NCC South "is intended to make people excited about trade fairs and congresses in Nuremberg." The new NCC South will form the distinctive keystone of an overall building structure approximately 400 meters long, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.
